Baranowski has made a name for himself primarily as a creator of comic strips, but in his larger paintings one does not see funny, talking characters in an intensely colorful world. The artist has created a serious, mature abstraction, which affects the viewer with its outstandingly captured dynamics, achieved by the compositionally appropriate arrangement of elements, and its spatiality - some fragments of the work partially detach from the ground and give the work an almost installation character. The multitude of materials used to create the work emphasizes its uniqueness, and the conceptual view of color and non-representational art enabled Tadeusz Baranowski to prepare a painting that attracts the eye of even the most resistant to the charm of abstract works.
